Recently, I accepted a part-time position at a local bookstore, which means that my weekly schedule will be a little wonky for a while. The most up-to-date and concise scheduling information will be on the #updates-and-news channel on Discord. I will still attempt to be live between 12 noon and 5 PM on the weekdays that I DO stream, Sunday Pathfinder and Movie Night are also going to remain on Sundays unless stated otherwise. Again, check out the #updates-and-news channels or Twitter for immediate changes.
What is the Priority Game List? Why don’t you have a game schedule?
The Priority Game List is what we have instead of a game schedule. Because of the nature of point-and-click and adventure games, adding to that the fact that we will play a game to its finale, it’s sometimes hard to predict just how many hours or days it will take us to get through the game’s storyline. HLTB.com only knows so much!
The top games will be reordered according to popular vote. The more votes, the sooner it will be played. Everyone has a chance to weigh in on what shows on Point & Klepto! Once the previous list has been exhausted, a new poll will be created and the cycle begins anew.
So, Syberia 3, Little Nightmares, The Sexy Brutale etc. was released…
Upcoming Releases will take priority over the list. I will try to give ample forewarning when this happens.
What about action-adventure games like Assassin’s Creed and Tomb Raider?
Shhh, don’t tell anyone, but we’re actually looking for times where we can have more of these. It’s a work in progress, though, so don’t spread it around.
Some games will take longer than others, right?
Yes! I want you to see the games you want to see! We’re both getting input on this list. While Point & Klepto gets three days a week, I want you to get the most out of it. That means that if a game stays on the list, it will get played and you will get to see it. The only way games are removed from the list is if they get no votes at all (even then, they might come back). This will allow me to frequently mix up the options.
Being dropped off the list does not immediately add a game to the F@#k It Bucket. The games simply return to limbo.
Do we get input on which games get listed?
As Dodger says, “abso-tively posi-lutely!” Send me your recommendations, and I’ll put them on deck. I won’t guarantee they’ll get onto the list immediately, but I’ll do my best.
